That means your are probably either a Head or Year 2 Teacher

You found the hidden portal to my Schools Special Offer for 2024

Special Package for Year 2

For schools that are able to be more flexible with dates, I have put together a package specially tailored for Year 2 children.

What I have to offer is far more than just a performance.

It is a selection of activities your staff and pupils will remember for a long time.

Is your school able to take advantage of one of these dates ?

I am sending out this invitation to all Primary Schools within a 35 mile radius of my home and workshop.

Unfortunately there are far more schools than available dates.

Hopefully I can accommodate all the schools that feel they would like to take advantage of booking this event.

Those schools who book me regularly, will already know that the 'hands on play' with puppets is something I have provided for some years now.

The 30 puppets are not 'toys'  (although huge fun to play with)

But are indeed 100% professional wooden puppets, scaled to be a perfect size for children's hands.

The afternoon 'CRAFT' lesson to make this 3-D model is the new addition to the package.

Every child -as well as each Teacher and Support Staff - will get their own model to make and take home with them.

You do not need to supply anything.

I will bring all the printed cardboard parts, tube glue and school safe scissors.  Also rulers and teaspoons for scoring the folds as well as table protectors to stop glue going on the desks.

If I say so myself, I lead this lesson very well.

The crafting is done one small step at time.

Each one is manageable, understandable, logical and fun.

We wait until everyone has completed each part before moving on.

No rushing ahead, or leaving anyone behind.

In any classroom there will be about three children who complete the model easily, quickly and flawlessly neat.

There will also be three or so children who will find some bits a struggle, or their cutting out is a bit wobbly.

I always try and spot the most able, encourage them to assist those on their table that need it.

But only if the others want help, and only once they have completed their own current section first.

Learning to give and accept help, are good life skills that go beyond just crafting...

Whatever their ability level, everyone goes home with a model they are happy with, and a sense of achievement.

I am aware that at some schools, and for some year 2's, this can be their first time at 3-D crafting.

If till this point they have only drawn, or crayoned, or painted...then the pride they experience at having actually 'made' something, is a joy to behold.

Everything has been thought through to ensure a quality experience.

There is even a striped paper bag, with handles to allow each child to take their work home easily and in good condition.

I hope you enjoy my website . I designed and built it myself using WIX
