Barton Under Needwood just put other local towns to shame with an absolutely splendid 80th VE Day event.
Other villages ( including my own : Alrewas ) could learn lessons from just how well put together this celebration was.
A big Thank-You to Gerry Taylor and his four hardworking cohorts for making this such a riotous success. The weather was kind to us, and a good time was had by all.
I couldn't make it down to London this year, but fellow CLUBSTERS said they had a wonderful time.
